Released in June of 1925, The Gold Rush by Charlie Chaplin is officially 100 years old. In celebration, more than five hundred cinemas worldwide - from Shanghai to Bologna, Kiev to Kazakhstan - have held screenings this year.
The Cooper Library is fortunate to have The Gold Rush available as it was originally viewed, on a 16mm film reel, and are thrilled to join Video Club in hosting a screening of this silent comedy in our atrium!
